Terem Moffi wanted by Premier League sides

An impressive 10 goals in 14 games by Nigerian forward Terem Moffi continues to see the player’s stock rise in Ligue 1, and now a further two Premier League sides have been in contact with Rennes regarding a January transfer move. Last summer, Everton, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth were all linked with a move for the 25-year-old, but a transfer deal could not be agreed.

Moffi’s rich form this season has now caught the eye of Tottenham and Newcastle, both sides having deployed scouts to catch the Calabar-born striker in action.

Since his arrival at Lorient from Kortrijk, Moffi has scored 32 goals and has made his first international appearance, scoring 3 goals for his country in 9 games. Lorient had tied the forward down to a long term deal, but could be open to a transfer should a 35 million euro valuation be matched.

The Premier League continues to remain the player’s likely destination, as first exclusively revealed by last season, with a Premier League quartet amongst the sides monitoring the striker’s progress.

In addition to that, Paris St Germain and Lyon have also been tracking the player’s transfer situation.
