Suryakumar Yadav has been in terrific touch since his emergence in international cricket and he played a sensational knock in the second T20I against New Zealand which left the cricketing fraternity in awe. Coming in at three, Yadav picked up from where he left off in the T20 World Cup 2022 and smashed an unbeaten 111-run knock off just 51 deliveries which included 11 fours and seven sixes.

In fact, the 32-year-old was hitting boundaries for fun and managed to explore the different gaps in the field with his strokes. The cricket experts were quite impressed with his century and big names like Virat Kohli also tweeted praising Yadav’s blistering innings. The knock helped India bag a huge win by a margin of 65 runs. During the game, a heart-warming incident took place off the field, at Yadav’s house in India.

Suryakumar Yadav’s sister Dinal Yadav shared a video of the family watching his batting innings in an Instagram story and his father was heard clapping on the batter reaching the milestone. Yadav’s mother, meanwhile, turned quite emotional as she thanked God for showering blessings on her son. The video of the same went viral on internet quickly

Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav was awarded the player of the match after the game and he explained the secret behind nailing his 360-degree shots in the match. He also added about his plans going into the crease and highlighted that he stuck to his game plan.

“The plan was clear when I went into bat. At the 12th/13th over, we thought about batting deep and getting around 170-175 was a par score. Secret (behind his freak shots) is about the intent and you need to enjoy yourself. It’s also about the work you do in the practice sessions. It’s a great feeling coming here, having a full game and going 1-0 in the series feels good. I feel that I didn’t think too much about what was happening. Just had my gameplan and it worked well. Fantastic crowd here,” Yadav told in the post-match conference.
