Team India began excellently with the ball in their first Test against Bangladesh. Axar Patel gave the visitors their second wicket by sending back Yasir Ali on Day 4 of the match on Saturday, December 17.

Yasir Ali is forward to block when the ball is angled in from around the wicket and falls around off and middle, but he plays down the wrong line instead. The ball spins away in an attempt to avoid the outside edge and comes into contact with the off-stump.

Bangladesh is two wickets down after losing Najmul Hossain Shanto and Yasir Ali. Umesh Yadav took Shanto’s wicket, while Axar Patel defeated Yasir. This occurred after Bangladesh made a strong start in their chase of 513 against India on Day 4 of the ongoing first Test at Chattogram’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

India declared their second innings at 258 for 2 with hundreds from Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara. Earlier, India had scored 404 runs after winning the toss and electing to bat first. Later, the visitors bowled Bangladesh out for 150, giving them a 254-run lead in the first innings. Kuldeep Yadav returned figures of 5 for 40.

Day 4 of the ongoing first Test between Bangladesh and India at Chattogram’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium finds Najmul Hossain Shanto and Zakir Hasan in fine form following each of their half-centuries. Bangladesh is cruising in its chase of 513 against India.

Axar Patel has cleaned up Yasir Ali with an absolute jaffa. The southpaw came round the wicket and bowled around the good length area to Yasir, who took his front foot out to defend the ball. The ball turned viciously after coming in contact with the surface. It missed the outside edge of Yasir’s bat and disturbed his off stump.
